The Metrobit Peak Booster is perfect for applications where equipment requires access to high power quickly but also stands at idle conditions for extended periods of time.

Tower Cranes are a perfect example of where the Peak Booster can add all-around savings. Tower Cranes needs access to large volumes of current on-demand. In the past, it’s been common to see Diesel Generators supply power to Tower Cranes. Generators are specified and set to supply the crane’s peak load requirements. These will then run for extended periods at the specified load generation to ensure the Tower Cranes have the required power when they demand it.

Metrobit can now offer their clients the opportunity to reduce the size of generators required. This in return will allow substantial savings in Co2 emissions and lower the fuel consumption that’s needed to power the Tower Cranes.

The Peak Booster can also add value at locations where there is existing grid power. No heavy-duty breakers, cabling, or large power allocation is required. Simply connect the system and start working with as little as 16-amp allocation.

Other common applications for the Peak Booster are the powering of Welding Machines, Passenger Hoists, Material Hoists, and Bar Benders. If your equipment is power hungry, then the Peak Booster is the right choice for your application.

The system has been designed to work in harsh and desert-like conditions and can withstand the hottest of days and coldest of nights. Boosting two synchronized air conditioning units, you can rest assured that the components are working in a selectable controlled atmosphere and that lifespan of the components are extended to its fullest capabilities.

The special high temperature batteries offer at least twice the cycling life of conventional lead acid batteries, and the modular inverter design allows for higher levels of reliability through redundancy.
